Wow, Thanks followers! That is impressive in a month and half!
Alright so guess what!?
I am halfway done with my school here in Ireland, and I have only had class for 5 weeks.
The time is surely "flying by" Literally I remember stepping off the plane, and before I know it I will be boarding to head to the US again. Wow
Basically I have class next week and that is week 6. It is called Charity Week, or Rag week to the students. It is basically Guilford's form of Serendipity, but on steroids. Serendipity, Rag week and Charity week can all be summed up by saying it is a week dedicated to drinking all day, not going to class, watching random bands, participating in events such as jello wrestling and slip n' sliding...I am not kidding. I got a copy of the itinerary for Rag week and they have schedules events like kissing contests and other ridiculous things.
It is a real, school sponsored event. The teachers basically expect no one to show up to their classes, I am trying to attend and maybe score tips for the finals since I can not hang with the amount of alcohol the Irish consume, at all.
After Rag week, I have a month left of classes, a week for spring break, 1 week for "studying" which means no classes, and then two weeks dedicated to taking finals. So basically after next week I have 4- maybe 3 weeks left of actual classes.
I can not wrap my mind around this.
Time flies when you're having fun! Rag week, eh? It's amazing there are even classes after a week like that. You would think they would go right into spring break to recover, but perhaps they wouldn't think about the need to recover and continue carousing.

Wow...crazy. I went to a top rated "party" school and we never came close to anything like rag week. Have fun but be careful. Take lots of pictures. You need to master the "fake drunk" I'm known to be. Love you. Can't wait to hear all about it.
ReplyDeleteWow it really has flown by!! They are just a bit more lax about their schooling over there huh! Well even if you don't participate in drinking all week it still sounds like it will be fun!!
